Who we are
Painter (“the App”) is an infinite-canvas sketching application for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes and why.
Information we collect
- Drawings and files you create — sketches, layers, colors, and related project data are stored on your device. We do not upload your artwork to our servers.
- App analytics (Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase) — aggregated usage events such as app opens and basic engagement metrics may be collected to understand stability and feature use. This may include device/app identifiers as provided by Google’s analytics services.
- Optional shares you initiate — if you export or share a file (PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF), the destination app or service you choose may process that file under its own policy.
How we use information
- To provide core drawing, save, and export features on your device
- To measure app performance and improve Painter
- To diagnose crashes or reliability issues when analytics data is available
Data storage and sharing
Your drawings remain on your device unless you export or share them yourself. Analytics data is processed by Google Firebase under Firebase Privacy and Google Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information.
Children’s privacy
Painter is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
- You can clear app data or uninstall Painter to remove local drawings from the device.
- Device-level advertising/analytics settings may limit some analytics identifiers where supported by Android.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when changes are posted on this page.
